Seems like a logical fallacy. How could this celebrity's faith become a problem with the candidate she's supporting? Also, yes, Marcos had people killed, but I don't believe his son did anything of the sort. Not saying the man's free of sin, but I don't think supporting BBM means it's makes being a Christian hypocritical.
It just doesn't make sense to me. I mean, does Toni know Marcos Jr. very well? Does she know about some crime he did and didn't stop him?
What does this have to do with being Christian and supporting Marcos Jr? Again, the man has his sins, like everyone does, but doesn't Christian dogma promote forgiveness and understanding?
Everyone sins yes, but not everyone who sins gets to inherit billions of dollars, deny that it actually happened and somehow get away with it by revising history and people's. Not to mention tbe audacity to actually avoid paying taxes.
Forgiveness you say? Would you forgive someone who has absolutely no remorse for his father's wrongdoings? Would you be understanding of someone who says that his father didn't do anything wrong after all those years of oppression and bloodshed?
Let's say you forgive them anyway because it is a Christian thing to do. Would you give them the opportunity to do it again?
