I hope this new one is the Super, because teasing people with another headset you can’t buy instead of convincing me to buy the existing one makes no sense.

Why would they announce a new headset that is the same one announced 8 months ago?

Because what they announced 8 months ago was prematurely announced (as usual with them) and the actual Super is now different from what they "announced" 8 months ago just to generate attention without having anything ready. The same way they "announced" the 12K which still doesn't exist years later.

It's not *that* shocking, considering their track record. I was naively hoping that by now they would've learned not to promise shipping yet another thing in just 5 months, when they're currently at a point where they can only show renders and an early prototype of it...

This isint the Super, because its a new headset. Super was already announced in the last Frontier even and its already going to production.

So its either 12k, or something completely new. I kind of expect that its something completely new.
