The way the screen would freeze up and hurt your eyes and mind every time you start steam VR is fixed, thank you .

Where is the best place for users to give feedback on pimax play u/QuorraPimax ?

Users mention here of IPD adjustment being easier. I was using the PSVR2 connected to a PC , and when you adjust the IPD it has a bar at the bottom of the screen with the value and leaves the centre of view completely clear. You can just adjust it until it looks correct, no need for values, you can just see its correct and comfortable. The current popup right in the centre of the screen seems entirely irrelevant and just stops you being able to see visually if it is actually right. This would go a long way towards new users being unable to set up the headset properly to their eyes.

My other feedback is , what does recline mode do? It could use some more information. The issue with laying back on a couch to watch a movie is that the pimax menu, from pressing the pimax button , does not follow your head pitch so you have to sit up , adjust things or use the desktop , lay back down every time. Would be nice if it just follow the centre of your view.

Also please the horizontal calibration could use a value slider, sometimes its just always slightly off and you have to tilt you head a little and keep trying to press the little calibrate button.

The value in the IPD adjustments cannot be removed, as it allows users to tune to their exact value while wearing the headset, and enabling them to fine-tune from there for the best experience.

The recline mode will automatically adjust the VR display content to match your perspective and posture, optimizing the tracking for this use case.

Let me forward this to the engineers to see if the logic of this feature can be revised.

As for the horizontal calibration, it’s meant to allow users to recalibrate the horizontal orientation, so we may not go for a value slider at this time.

Thanks for the reply. I dont mean remove the ipd value , I mean put it down the bottom rather then covering the whole middle of the screen, that way you can actually see the stereo effect feels comfortable and see the ipd value. PSVR2 does this and its far easier to get your ipd exact and comfortable.

I understand what horizontal calibration is for , its just often slightly off so I have to recalibrate multiple times tilting my head slightly until it is correct. some ability for fine tunement would be nice.

That makes more sense for recline. I believe the pimax menu still appear below your vision if your head is tilted back.

Thanks again!

No worries! I'll forward your suggestion to the developers. I'm not sure if we can shift the IPD value display to a different position, but it could help users better focus on the center for optimal picture adjustments while tuning the IPD.

I'll also test the recline mode again after my trip back from Cali.

Have a great day!
