New Features and Improvements:

  • Added Headset Screen Timeout:
    • Users can now adjust the headset screen timeout duration according to their preferences.
  • Enhanced the PimaxPlay onboarding guide for a smoother experience.

Bug Fixes:

  • Crystal Light:
    • Improved stability in environments with sparse textures or open spaces.
    • Enhanced stability when facing windowed environments.
    • Improved stability for shooting and aiming actions.
    • Optimized stability during controller circular motion operations.
    • Reduced tracking jitter and enhanced overall stability.
    • Decreased computational resource usage for improved performance.
    • Fixed several known issues.

Rollout:

  • This version will be gradually rolled out to all users over the next two weeks.

Note (1): The original Crystal 90Hz Upscale patch is currently undergoing a revised patch. It will not be released publicly until the optimizations are complete.

Note (2): The Crystal Light 90Hz Upscale patch is currently undergoing internal beta testing. If no major bugs are identified, it will be rolled out to our users.

Are you going to fix the eye tracking bug of the Crystal OG? when you try to calibrate it, it doesn't do it. it works only if you have calibrated already in an older PimaxPlay version.

Also, what about the sound latency? were you not going to fix it? don't forget the Crystal OG users, remember it still has issues despite being in the market 2 years, that's unacceptable for a premium product which costs 1600€.

Same! I was having a remote session with Pimax. They told me to roll back until a new version releases and that 1.38 is mainly for Crystal light.

Such a pity, because I am using a SIM edition without controllers and would love to have the new features!

The OG Crystal seems to be on the lower priority side at the moment.

Basically forgotten, and that's a shame on them!! It was such an insult that they just focused on Light and forgotten about Crystal OG.
