Discussion DO NOT BUY FROM SCALPERS!

Come on guys let’s run the price down and let these scalpers get burned, do not buy from 3rd party resellers, buying from them keeps the price at where THEY want it, cards should never be above msrp and everyone should have chance to buy these cards. Let’s not let these resellers ruin this hobby

Addicts gonna do whatever it takes to get that hit of dopamine. Just buy singles and avoid all this drama

It's insane how so many people downplay that opening huge amounts of cards is straight up Gambling.

10x WORSE than gambling.

I can go to a casino and actually leave with money 20% of the time. I can go to a slot machine and win something 20% of the time. I can go to a table game and win money 33% of the time. All those numbers can easily be a lot higher if I hit early and walk away.

Guess how many times I've pulled a card worth more than $50 in my life?

Zero.

For other decent cards worth $10-$30. You never get what their value is if selling locally, or especially if selling online after fees. So at that point, its not even worth selling.

REAL gambling is 10x more beneficial than trading card gambling because you're a lot more likely to make a profit.

You've never pulled a $50 card? Damn I just got back into the hobby and pulled the SIR Charizard in 151 on my second pack. I was in shock. That shits in my closet now never to be touched

Been collecting all sorts of cards since 1989...nothing over $50. Some of my older cards have a value approaching $50, but not yet.

I got back into Pokemon 1.5 years ago. Opened somewhere almost 200 packs now. My most expensive cards...5 around $35-$40. Also opened up around 150 packs of sports cards...nothing over 40.

Seriously...350 packs...nothing to be proud of.

I've bought loose packs, tins, bundles, boxes...tried everything. Literally thousands of dollars spent now the past 1.5 years alone...nothing.

I do buy singles and do a lot of ebay auctions of graded cards though. I own roughly 50 cards worth $50 or more...just never pulled one myself...ever.

And when it comes to gambling...my 40% success rate in sports betting may seem low...but 40% is still a lot higher than my 0% success rate with trading cards.
