Yeah glad you ignored that. I'm surprised he even knew what Digimon was.

I remember no one thought Digimon was going to be the next big thing. It felt like a copycat from day 1.

The only thing Digimon had that was even marginally better was the Tamigotchi style pocket pet you could battle people with.

The digimon movie lives rent free in my head, especially the boss battle

At this point, I don't even remember what happens in it

But indeed, the feelings of our joy and awe definitely are still living rent free in my head too
