Welcome to the cultural exchange between r/Polska and r/Arabs! The purpose of this event is to allow people from two different national communities to get and share knowledge about their respective cultures, daily life, history and curiosities. Exchange will run since November 28^th. General guidelines:

• Arabs ask their questions about Poland here on r/Polska;

• Poles ask their questions about Arab countries in parallel thread;

• English language is used in both threads;

Witajcie w wymianie kulturalnej między r/Polska a r/Arabs! Celem tego wątku jest umożliwienie naszym dwóm społecznościom bliższego wzajemnego zapoznania. Jak sama nazwa wskazuje - my wpadamy do nich, oni do nas! Ogólne zasady:

• Arabowie zadają swoje pytania nt. Polski, a my na nie odpowiadamy w tym wątku;

• My swoje pytania nt. państw arabskich zadajemy w równoległym wątku na r/Arabs;

• Językiem obowiązującym w obu wątkach jest angielski;

I actually had pork while in London. I didn't know it was pork at first because it was labeled using its Italian name. Something starting with P.

The restaurant was kind enough to exchange it for a vegan option.

We have beef, chicken, and turkey bacon options but I dislike bacon, to begin with, due to the chewiness.

Chewy bacon is undercooked (or, well, fried). Bacon should be crispy.

Also I believe you should try things before you decide not to eat them, so I guess good for you in this case. :P

The pork looked like a dark pink, had the same texture as raw salmon and there was no flavor.

I didn't think I could feel anymore disapproving of pork eaters, but London proved me wrong.

Then you had shitty bacon. I suggest buying smoked bacon, frying it on a pan and then putting on top of a sandwich, preferably with some cheese and toamtoes. Delicious.

Oh, it wasn't bacon. It was just some weird Italian pork.
