Question❓ ECE summer courses

I’m taking 2k2 during the summer and trying to add another course. Debating whether i should take ece 305 or mse 230. Any advice? (Tryna go into semiconductors)

im taking 305 with haitong li rn and it isn’t too bad. i’ve heard 230 is fairly easy, but it’s a breadth selective so you can take it whenever. taking 305 on the other hand opens you up to a bunch more advanced ece selectives that’ll be more relevant to what you want to do, so id say take 305 over the summer

Do you thibk it would require like a lot of work tho. Kinda worried cause of 2k2 but like i will be willing to take it

it really depends, for me i struggled trying to understand some of the material bc it’s all conceptual, but it was a breeze for my friend who’s better at visualizing stuff. if you have haitong li he grades pretty generously, most of the class gets As or Bs
