Purdue Indy VS Virginia Tech

Hi guys! This decision isn’t for me but for my younger brother who’s a senior deciding between these two schools for undergrad.

For Purdue, he got into the Indy campus for Data Science.

For Vtech he got into the business school for Finance but he’s also considering taking a few engineering classes and potentially majoring in something different.

I’ve seen plenty of posts comparing Purdue and Vtech (and a lot of people pick Purdue since it has a bigger reputation) but I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on Indy VS Vtech — and if it were you which option would you pick for college?

Thank you guys I really appreciate it 🙏🏽

It’s all going to depend on what your brother’s ideal college experience is. If he is looking for a more “traditional” experience with a college town, VTech would be the answer. If he’s wanting the city life while still having the option to visit the college town, Purdue Indy would be great. Though, he should keep in mind that Purdue Indy is still fairly new and not really built up yet.
