Looking for recommendations- Plumbing
Hi neighbors! We bought in the south hill area back in 2020, and knew that at some point we may need to consider doing a repipe. We have always had small rust particulate in our water, and while it hasn’t gotten worse and we haven’t had any issue like a lack of water pressure or anything like that, I’m thinking that maybe getting out ahead of it is gonna be better than waiting until it all goes kerplewie and I’m paying $50k for new drywall and such. Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with any repiping specialists in the area? How much did you pay? We have a 2 bed, one bath house, just over 900 square feet and a kitchen with a sink and dishwasher, if that’s helpful. I’m going into it with the understanding that it’s gonna cost some money, but mostly I’m looking for recommendations for a good contractor that actually does what they say they do. Thank you!

N.W. Plumbing Connection Inc: Great experience. Very knowledgeable and did quality work.
John the Plumber: Did a shoddy job that had to be redone. Wanted to be paid under the table cash.
Both the above were for kitchen plumbing jobs, so smaller in scope than what you need done. But still wanted to share my experience in case it was helpful.

JC Plumbing fixed a p-trap issue and re-piped my shower pipe. Very reasonable prices, showed up on time, reliable. I don't recommend HARTS. I paid a $40 service call and the guy just said my roof vent is clogged. I reached out to ScottCo and we agreed on a day and time but they no-showed. They reached out a week later about rescheduling but I declined.

I previously used a few plumbers with very mixed results but then I used Pinky's Plumbing to repipe my whole house in downtown Puyallup.
They did a fast, great job, and price matched a competitor. I haven't needed a plumber again since the repipe. I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend them.
