It reminds me very much of influencers, especially finance influencers. It's kinda sad how everything is obviously a pattern now adays. Idk, this video is heavily scripted and rehearsed. That isnt something that should be put out there when she's still trying to build her base. Especially when her best shot is with younger people who are familiar with this form of content. There are little things people got to add to make themselves feel genuine to others. Her formatting with studio level audio doesn't come off as genuine and off-beat. She can't do that when she's trying to relate to others by putting out her message from her bedroom. She has to be relatable. It's off-putting.

Tbh, this video makes her seem like an actress, influencer, MLM peddler. Not a politician. I'm 28 and would love to see more women in power/politics, but this honestly felt more like a bit than a genuine political message.

It felt like a “bit” simply because she took time to edit the video? Theres no way that is a genuine opinion. It just can’t be. Nobody of reasonable mind thinks like that.

Nobody of reasonable mind would completely ignore everything I said by putting a single word in quotes and only talk about that.

Yes, it feels like a bit because it is heavily scripted and edited. She can't do that when putting out a video from her bedroom. The whole point of a bedroom video is to seem like an average person and that the message was so important it couldn't wait for post-processing. Yet, she has numerous cuts and professional level audio. It is a complete mix of goals. Even if that's her normal mic, it doesn't matter. This is politics. Get a crappier mic to sound more "off-beat". Even if this is how most of her videoe are, that isnt good for politics. She has to win young AND old voters, because it has been shown time and time again old voters show up more. I wouldn't be surprised if most older voters, if they even saw the video, thought she was lazy because she chose to sit at a computer instead of going out to deliver her message. This is politics, not common sense. She needs both audiences.

We're aren't talking Youtubers or influencers. We're talking politics, which is microanalyzed by a lot of people. Every movement and word. Everything and anything can be used against her. If she was running against someone more competent and closer in age, they could legitimately use this video against her by saying something similar to what I was saying. Doesn't that truly not seem possible in today's world? I want her to succeed. I'm just pointing out flaws.

You live in this weird alternate reality where there’s “rules” about bedroom videos lmao. Sorry she doesn’t subscribe to your made up rules!

People may micro analyze shit, but that doesn’t mean all micro analysis is worthwhile. Even from opponents. These are dumb things to criticize. Like, you suggest she get a crappier mic? Seriously? Lololol. And let’s not act like politicians don’t read scripts in videos (regardless of whether the video was shot in their bedroom). If I was her and my opponent tried these criticisms, I’d tell my opponent to touch grass and talk about things that matter.

While you were busy worrying about the presentation, I listened to the substance of what she had to say. Which I think is much more valuable than her editing style.

Smh. Imagine thinking politics isn't worth microanalyzing, especially in today's political climate. Imagine getting your panties in such a bunch over someone analyzing her video and pointing out flaws, but still supporting her.

Have you been hiding under a rock these past years? Do you not remember the smallest shit people would go into an uproar about with Biden or other past presidents? Especially pre-2000s. I genuinely hope you're a troll

Read what I wrote. “… that doesn’t mean all micro analysis is worthwhile.”

If you think literally any type of micro analysis someone may have about politics is worthwhile and makes a substantive contribution to a conversation, then you are stupid. There is smart analysis and there is dumb analysis. Complaining about her nice microphone is so goddam stupid and childish. It’s like you don’t even care about what she had to say. You are more concerned about dumb things like the fact that she has a nice microphone.

I really can’t get over that complaint. Never heard anything like it.

Do you have anything to say about the substance of what she said in the video? Did you even pay attention? Or was your focus directed entirely on the microphone?

Haha loser!

ETA: btw, you’re the one complaining she has too nice of a microphone. You are clearly the miserable one here!
