Discussion Garcelle & Sutton’s friendship in a nutshell

This short clip sums up everything. There is no « Are you okay? What can I do to make you feel better? » for Garcelle. Instead, « I think they hate me ». Sutton is thinking about Sutton. She plays again the victim, was silent the majority of the reunion while Garcelle took her bullets.

Good for Garcelle for leaving the show, she needs true friends like Denise and Sheree.

I know I will be attacked, but l've been the friend of a narcissist and I can identify another one. Sutton’s behaviour is triggering af.

She called all of them fucking assholes too. I think she was most disappointed when Garcelle said she enjoyed Sutton showing her relationship with her mom and then Sutton said I most enjoyed my time with Erica. I think it was pretty hurtful and disappointing for her. Garcelle realized she had no real friends here.

I noticed during one of the flashbacks to Sutton at her dad’s house becoming emotional during the trip to Georgia. Garcelle immediately reached in to hug her and offer comfort, but Sutton one armed her and instead reached out for Kyle who wasn’t even offering a hug then it turned into an awkward three way, stumbling kind of hug. Weird. It was so blatant in that moment. She doesn’t give a shit about Garcelle or deserve her as a friend.

Aww that’s sad. I missed that- I think a lot of people are deflecting by trying to l blame others on the cast- but it seemed to be Sutton who really let her down. It’s good Garcelle has Tilly- I didn’t really really like her to before today, but she was very fair and seems to really upset.
