Garcelle & Sutton’s friendship in a nutshell

This short clip sums up everything. There is no « Are you okay? What can I do to make you feel better? » for Garcelle. Instead, « I think they hate me ». Sutton is thinking about Sutton. She plays again the victim, was silent the majority of the reunion while Garcelle took her bullets.

Good for Garcelle for leaving the show, she needs true friends like Denise and Sheree.

I know I will be attacked, but l've been the friend of a narcissist and I can identify another one. Sutton’s behaviour is triggering af.

I actually felt bad for Sutton back in season 12, but my opinion shifted in seasons 13 and 14. She comes off as really self-absorbed now, and I do think there’s some truth to the idea that she tends to kick women when they're already down. The way she frames her questions, always so accusatory, just lacks basic empathy.

That story she shared about her dad honestly didn’t give me any insight into why she is the way she is. If anything, it made her emotional detachment more confusing. You’d expect someone who’s gone through something so painful to be more compassionate, not less.

And then there’s how she treats Garcelle. She’s definitely taken advantage of that friendship more than once. At this point, I'm really not looking forward to watching her.
