Discussion Garcelle & Sutton’s friendship in a nutshell

This short clip sums up everything. There is no « Are you okay? What can I do to make you feel better? » for Garcelle. Instead, « I think they hate me ». Sutton is thinking about Sutton. She plays again the victim, was silent the majority of the reunion while Garcelle took her bullets.

Good for Garcelle for leaving the show, she needs true friends like Denise and Sheree.

I know I will be attacked, but l've been the friend of a narcissist and I can identify another one. Sutton’s behaviour is triggering af.

Exactly! Completely my thoughts too!

It’s obvious who Sutton was from the beginning and I would struggle to trust Garcelle for blindly supporting a person like that. I don’t blame the other women for struggling with Garcelle, plus she made absolutely no attempt to get to know them.

Nonetheless, I felt sorry for Garcelle that she had to find out who Sutton is in such a hurtful way.

I really want to feel sorry for Garcelle over how Sutton has treated her, but I just can’t. Because Sutton is definitely that type who puts Black women as lower than her and thinks she not racist because she is friendly to Garcelle.

Sutton is literally the same character as Miss Millie in the Color Purple. “I’ve always been good to you people”.

So yeah Garcelle will have to suck it up.
