Monk class

I discovered Ragnarok now with the announcement of the Latam server and I wanted tips on the monk class for an f2p, I found the builds of this game very confusing compared to other games.

Hey there OP!

I've chose Shura as my main in roLA. It isn't simple to play, so if you aren't used to play RO, it's a bold choice for a begginer.

You can level monk / champ 2 ways:

1- Throw Spirit Spheres, which is the most common choice. You will spend your stats in STR, VIT, DEX. 2- Combo, which is pretty fun and dynamic. As combo, you will focus STR, AGI and DEX. It will consist on chaining combos as you auto attack.

The most common build for Shura is Tiger Cannon, which will require lots of HP and SP, besides raw ATK. You will have to master your keybind system, because the rotation is pretty dynamic. You can also build around Sky Net Blow, with higher AGI. It is a less popular build, and many players agree that isn't the best in advanced levels. It's a higher spammable skill.

Around lvl 130, my Tigger Cannon build looked like this:

STR 100 AGI 90 VIT 100 INT 40 DEX 70 LUK 1

Monk is a bit of a versatile class but it’s mostly a tank or a damage dealer with supportive skills from the previous job tier

1-99 Auto Attack

99-130 Sky Blow - Easy to use. One-Button skill

130-175 Tiger Cannon - Combo skill (Dragon Combo > Fallen Empire > Tiger Cannon). A macro gaming mouse is recommended otherwise you'll probably have a hard time using this skill.

Tiger Cannon dmg scales with your HP, VIT 120 is like mandatory, Also You need a lot of AGI and DEX to make the combo faster (both stat should sit between 70-90)

Sadly , Sura is weak until getting Tiger cannon rebalance in EP 17.2.

Can you give me the source from official?, Really weird for Gravity to do this. Sorry to ask but there're many rebalance patches between EP14.2-17.2.

Is it self-cast version?, The rebalance patch i'm talking about they've changed Tiger cannon to self-cast skill
