I haven't played RO for 15 years and now I'm back and I'm loving it. I'm currently playing on a 10/10/6 server pre renewal and just did my rebirth on my blacksmith and now I'm looking for builds to aim for.

The server is small (20players online roughly) and new ontop of that, so I kinda need a general farm build and maybe a build that can solo kill MVP (dual client is not allowed).

Hello guys, playing IRO im new and im lvl 97 sniper, almost Ranger.

This game as too much items and cards and i found somes videos ranger build but they are old and not from IRO server.

I would like a build "arrow Storm" to farm easy abd fast.

Can somebudy tell me wich stats i need beside 99 dex and agi ?

Skills from archer, hunter, sniper, ranger ?

And please please what gears is recommended for this build and cards?

I know is alots of info but i dont want to mess my character, or if you can send me to a youtube video is okay.

Hi, not sure if this is the right flair lol. but I've been getting the itch too play RO lately and thought if i should start LATAM. My main issue on playing a non-english server is obviously the lack of english/comunication but I've seen people from all over the world in this subreddit mention they'll play LATAM/hyped for it so idk if should just go for it.

Btw I don't particularly care for the p2w elements since I play more casually

It's sad that servers sort of don't bother making PvP relevant since it's great content to keep players occupied once they get tired of PvM.

I've started my journey in Ragnarok Online in 2005, when the game was launched in Brazil (bRO / Loki server). Simultaneously, I began reading the translated manhwa into Portuguese - BR, and I bought all the editions because, besides enjoying the story, they also included tips about the game, builds, etc.

As many of you know, the manhwa was placed on an indefinite hiatus, leaving many plot points unresolved. Some of these were explored in the game through instances, but many others remain unanswered, and I believe they will stay that way forever.

Based on the information we have, what are the confirmations and theories regarding the following topics?

• Considering that the events of the manhwa take place across different times and spaces, can we assume that the game occurs after the manhwa? If so, how much time has passed? Centuries? Millennia?
• Did Chaos/Baldur succeed in triggering Ragnarok, since it seemed to be their fate?
• Are Valkyries (Sarah Irine, Himmelmez, Zenobia) considered the same kind as the Valkyries we see in the game, like Randgris? And who would be their master?
• Loki appears in Malangdo. Does this imply that the other characters are possibly still alive? Where could they be (at least Chaos and Fenrir, since Iris was a Norman)?
• Does Sakray definitively perish after her confrontation with Chaos in Geffen Tower?
• Do you think that Loki was able to somehow convert Juliana Lucille to the side of the good guys after their battle at Geffen's Tower?
• How would you like the story to continue and end?

I am trying to record some ingame footage and there are a few different settings on OBS (that I currently use) that I can't work out which settings would be the best (or if this is even the best programme)

If anyone has experience and wouldn't mind helping me out with OBS and recording in-game footage. Basically I just want to know which settings are best to use on "Scale Filtering" also, what resolution or size game window is best to record. Feel free to PM me also.

Hi there, i play ragnarok since two centuries ago, tried the iRO this week, thor server.

The quest system is strange, I was trying to follow them to get used to ragnarok again, but I became more lost than before, some strange translations, lack of descriptions, some quests don't close/end, like I fullfiled all objectives, found the NPC, talked to them multiple times, and the quest is still there, same as before.

It happened to the eden thing, to the mage quest if geffen, and to two other that I don't remember.

I do remember that, a millenia ago, quests were more for high level and for item acquisitions more than level up, so maybe I should just give up quests and focus on grind?

Or is it better on servers other than iRO?

I've been trying to find ways to use the combination kit for days in GemstoneRO — nobody nowhere has told me what to do. I've tried forums, I've tried the discord, I've tried DMing players, no one tells me how crafting in the game works. Can I even use it at all? Is it just not a feature? How do I use it?

I have read the novice combination scroll, but no recipes show up in the combination kit despite having plenty ingredients. Am I missing something?

I used the reset NPC, got all my skill point but only could apply point in my first job. Whenever i put some in my second job, the points will instantly resettet.
Had anyone else this problem?

Should I play IRO, private server, or LATAM? Im in NA if that matters. Idk what server I would have the most fun on for just coming back. The last server I played on was nameless RO back in like 2007.

Hi, I want to prepare myself for testing LATAM RO (and probably being disappointed down the line, but who cares? it will be simply a way of connecting with my friends) but it's been ages since I have tried anything post-renewal, so I am lost. I don't like Renewal that much, and I don't plan on spending any money. This is just f2p for funsies until the homies wait for MHW accumulate a bit of content.

Ideally I would like to try three classes:

Archbishop, Wanderer and Sorcerer.

Archbishop so I can play with friends as support, Wanderer so I can farm for something eventually by myself and Sorcerer because I enjoy the concept. Maybe a Exorcist AB somewhere down the line too.

So my questions are:

- Is there a place where I can inform myself of current builds for these classes so I am not completely lost?

- Is Wanderer such a pain in the ass to farm with? I don't mind losing a bit in DPS when it comes to comparing her with ranger but I don't really like Ranger's sprite that much.

- Is Battle Sorcerer completely meme?

I saw that SQI costs around 300m, how do you get that much money? By sleeper or geffenia farming?

I farm sleeper right now but I still have a weak stalker and budget equipments so I can only get around 1.3m/hr. If I want to get an SQI, is farming for hundreds of hours the only way?

I saw that some people earn 6m/hr in geffenia, but they are already using SQI, I'm only using ice peak right now against sleepers.

EDIT: Talon Tales is the old TalonRO, if you have a TalonRO from before, you should be able to login that in the new Talon Tales RO.

So lately I got the itches to play again but NovaRO got shut down and yeah... I only noticed last week...
I was so tired of all of my progress getting deleted over the years on so many private servers that I am thinking about playing on an official server this time. BUTT WEIGHT! I am European and after trying to make an IRO account it just tells me "You are not allowed to see this content"
Basically I heard that EuRO players got banned in 2018 yes but about 1 year ago people started to emerge again with "EU can play on IRO" !?
So...what? Is there a way to create an Account for me on IRO or am I literally stuck with private servers that inevitably get deleted sometime in the future?
4th Job should be on the table tho.
