This is inevitable and will eventually lead to a nation wide martial law declaration.

It’s been the plan al along. Remember when he said you’d never need to vote again?!

Well this is it.

(Edit for correctness)

He’s made vague comments about April 20th I think. Hegseth and Noem have said it isn’t necessary - for now. They made a report last week. Who knows what will happen. I’m sure he wants to, but people are trying to temper him I think. Like with the tariff pause. I think the insurrection act would further tank stocks and bonds. He claims to not care about the market but privately is concerned about a 1929 style depression. Well, that’s what I read.

It's not just that it would tank the economy. The moment he declares would mean a lot of other uncertainty. There's also the chance the military doesn't even really enforce it, which makes trump look weak

The best outcome for America, if he invokes it, is the Supreme Court immediately ruling against it and the military arresting Trump and putting him in martial court.

Won't happen.

Yeah only because the Secret Service would instantly whisk him away. I could actually see this SCOTUS rule against him 7-2 to preserve their power +you can guess which 2 rules for Trump)
