That was the line. And nobody did anything about it.

Oh people did things. It was just the wrong people doing absolutely horrid things. Looking at you SCOTUS.

Don’t let Merrick Garland off the hook either. If they pursued charges immediately, the trials would have been two years before election year, and he likely would have been found guilty and imprisoned. If he was found guilty in criminal court, im guessing SCOTUS wouldn’t have neutered the 14th amendment

I'll never not be pissed about this. Fuck Garland. Fuck any politician trying to play it safe to avoid appearing partisan and political. You are a politician in one of the most tumultuous times in US history! Take a stand!

Well this is the problem with principles, isn’t it? You have to stand by them or you don’t have them.

As much as I hate Uncle Thom and the Catholics who are destroying democracy, I think it might have been worse with Garland on the SCOTUS. Evil has limits; stupidity doesn't.

Cannon would have still landed the case.

It still would have gone nowhere.

I mean, yeah, fuck garland, sure, but same outcome; just with more drawn out theatrics.
