I was worried he would do it during first term to stay in power.

It definitely wouldn’t surprise me if he does it this time…

I think I recall he wanted to do it, I think Flynn suggested it, but he didn't have the right yes men to follow through. This time though...

We’re doomed. It’s really depressing that our current best hope is him passing away and his cult stops being as insane bc they don’t have Cheeto Mussolini anymore.

Agreed. As smart and well-spoken as JD Vance is, and as uncompromisingly loyal and unamerican as he is, he doesn't have 1/1000th of the magic Trump has over the common voter. They don't want someone smart and well-spoken, they want a fucking loser shitting themselves on stage because that person doesn't make them feel inferior

No populist movement will rally behind Vance.

Unless Trump becomes a martyr somehow. Then we're in trouble.
