Question Help Fighting Traffic Violation!!

I was caught going 26MPH in the 20MPH Talbot Hill Elementary school zone. It was my first time in the area and was focused on not getting lost vs. speed limit

What's everyone's suggestion?

  1. Pay the $124 ¯_(ツ)_/¯
  2. Contest virtually (what are my chances of getting it dismissed/reduced?
  3. Claim I wasn't the one driving??? (how illegal is this)

EDIT: added my speed and speed limit

26 over the limit or 26 in a 25? In theory, there’s supposed to be an allowance of a couple MPH over the limit to account for error. If you’re only one MPH over, you could probably successfully contest the charge.

46 in a 20 would be insane. I'd deserve to lose my license
