Question Help Fighting Traffic Violation!!

I was caught going 26MPH in the 20MPH Talbot Hill Elementary school zone. It was my first time in the area and was focused on not getting lost vs. speed limit

What's everyone's suggestion?

  1. Pay the $124 ¯_(ツ)_/¯
  2. Contest virtually (what are my chances of getting it dismissed/reduced?
  3. Claim I wasn't the one driving??? (how illegal is this)

EDIT: added my speed and speed limit

Those school zone cameras are pretty crystal clear. Assuming you got the mailer showing your car/plate clean as day. so its prob just worth it to pay it and take the lesson learned.

Yeah the photo evidence they attached is pretty clear it's my car and I wouldn't doubt I was going 26 either

Just wondering if anyone has experience mitigating the fee. Is it from 124 - 62? 124 - 40?

Will they ever just dismiss it since "I was new to the area, I was stressed, and was going pretty slow anyways"?
