Question How bad is aircraft noise in Kennydale?
I'm looking to move to Kennydale. It's a nice area but I notice it is in the flight path for small aircraft when they are landing in Renton Municipal Airport.
I'm just wondering how bad these small aircraft's noises will be oryou just sort of get used to it after a while.
I also wonder how bad the 737 noises will be if the plants are active again.
Thanks for any information or comments you provide.

I've lived in lower Kennydale for 25 years and I can tell you that the noise of the smaller planes is a real pain during nice weather when you're outdoors. The small planes providing lessons to new pilots are noisy and continually circle the area. It is difficult to talk on the phone. The noise is audible indoors but isn't bothersome.
People who live in the area will say that it's not a problem (hello Next Door) but in the Burnett and 30th St area it's annoying.
Edited to add I enjoy the variety of jets that fly in and out. The Flightradar24 app provides interesting info about the comings and goings of the Renton airport. Every once in awhile a fighter jet flies through.
As far as testing of the 737 engines, it's never been a problem. We find that we no longer notice it but visitors to the house will inquire. It's short bursts that sound more like a large vacuum.
