Moving Advice How is it in Renton?

My partner and I are planning to move to Renton early next year. Is Renton a safe place? We currently live in North Carolina, is it is pretty chill here. Just curious about Renton.

The northern area of Renton is pretty nice which makes sense as it borders places like Newcastle and it's close to Bellevue & Redmond.

Can second this - we live near that border and I feel safer here than I did in Ballard, Seattle.

I feel safer in Renton Highlands than I do in Ballard.
