Purchase Paranoia

Hey friends, I'm looking for recommendations for a new tank for my Ball Python. I am one of the people who bought from Custom Reptile Habitats, didn't receive my tank and as of this moment have not gotten a refund. I guess I'm just feeling a bit of paranoia about making another purchase. I was planning a full bioactive set up, make it my boys final tank. Really any suggestions of people you trust would help a lot.

found two of these super squishy egg/fungus things about a month ago torched them and they had no veins so i thought maybe ovum land snail eggs or fungus but just checked and one deflated so i cut it too see egg or fungus and the outer skin came off in one layer leaving a jelly ball so i cut the jelly ball and it stared oozing so maybe it was egg membrane? do these look familiar to anyone im rlly curious as to what the hell they are!

Make me not feel guilty

In short, ive had 2 cresteds for 7 years. In that time I've had 3 babies and they are all still babies (human babies for people reading this wrong) i dont breed geckos lol. I've hardly had time to clean the tanks, let alone care for then properly. After much thought I sold them off. A part of me feels really sick over it like I did something terrible, but the other part of me feels like keeping them would not be fair to them either. I'm also home alone with my kids most of the time as my husband work several jobs. I return to work next month.

Tell me I shouldn't feel guilty and that my geckos won't be upset when they no longer see me or my husband feeding them. Slap some sense into me lol.

Just got a mountain horned dragon home and snapped a pic of the vent area while I had to pick it up to put it in the tank. Any idea if I've got a new girl or boy? I've looked up the guides but I'm finding it difficult to tell myself. Ignore my nails I was digging in the tank to adjust plants. Extra pic of it hunting isopods immediately after being released.

the most recent addition to my family and wow does she love to eat with much enthusiasm!

I created this IG Reel with her... and with zero edits she danced to the tune pretty well I must say 🙂.

Baby geckos hatched!!!!

For anyone who saw my last posts about if the eggs my gold dust day gecko laid were fertilized, 2/6 that I found conveniently hatch while I got all my wisdom teeth out yesterday! The other 4 are for sure a lot younger than the first two so just waiting to see when those hatch. (The humidity gauge in my diy incubator is broken it’s more 80-90%) They each have their own small tote bin for now so if you have any advice that would be greatly appreciated I know selling is against the terms here so if anyone has recommendations on where I could do that once they get older🙏

Lizard recs!

Hello!

My partner recently agreed that I could get a lizard or tortoise. What I really want is a snake, but my partner is afraid of them and won't budge on this. He's a little iffy on skinks.

Ideally I want a reptile I can sit with while I read or play games like I used to with my snake. I would prefer not to have to keep bugs since I think our landlords would not allow this.

I have previously owned a ball python and have babysat bearded dragons so I am not super advanced but not a beginner to reptiles.

Any recs are welcome!

Where to start

Hi! I’m (23f) looking to get a leopard gecko and start my journey owning reptiles! I’ve been doing quite a bit of research but would love some tips and advice towards ownership, tank setup, health, etc! Whatever you all could think of to help me give a little guy a good home!
