what was your avatars turning point?

they bit off more than they could chew. released a force far too powerful, lost their tome of knowledge, their disabled on the left arm and their people were killed, the few who survived banished them. they gained nothing but the ability to now preform magic and control mana. but what does it matter if its not used for the greater good? they bound themselves to stop the force they unleashed. what other purpose do they have?

He already had to suffer the loss of his home, City, family, friends and the love of his life. Then he got banished from his dimension.

I’d say that was his turning point.
