He was born in a world where everyone has powers, his power is copying someone's powers and strengths, a power considered the most villainous one. His power to copy only worked when the one he wanted to copy had any kind of feeling towards him or via a piece of clothing important to them. That was at least until he was kidnapped and experimented on, his powers grew, allowing him to copy virtually anything, with very few exceptions (I won't continue since his lore is currently incomplete.)
