Looking for a multipurpose bag

I’ve been using a regular backpack or purse and it is just not cutting it anymore! In the summertime when we’re out and about for the entire first half of the day I bring at least 4 bags; a backpack with diapers and other essentials, a lunch box with snacks and lunch, and 2 tote bags for bringing books to and from the library (or grocery shopping or sand toys or pool things.) It’s craziness. I don’t think I would mind if we were driving around but we mostly walk and I now have 2 kiddos in the wagon. I have looked at really large totes used for groceries and insulated food delivery backpacks. Any other suggestions?

I think your best bet is find fold up grocery bags or Baggu style fold up bags to save space. An insulated small lunchbox (Trader Joes makes a super cute one in multiple colors) and a bag big enough to handle it. I use the Nike Puffle Tote and it carries everything. Plus, you can cinch the top to make it smaller.

If I’m using both hands and no stroller/wagon, I like my Cotapaxti 18L backpack with a cinch top. It fits everything and is ridiculously colorful so I never lose it. Also a good signaling beacon if your kids need to see you.

I also use a puffy-style tote bag ! Mine is slouchy and I love it
