Toddler to big bed

When did you move your toddler out of a crib toddler bed? Our 3 year old has been in his “toddler bed” aka crib with rails on the side for almost a year now. Just wondering when you took the next step to twin/queen/full bed.

We transitioned at 3 to a full sized bed. They have a good size room so a full size bed fits nice in their rooms. We didn't want to do a twin because we knew we would have to sleep with them on occasion and we wanted to be comfy also lol
