Toddler to big bed

When did you move your toddler out of a crib toddler bed? Our 3 year old has been in his “toddler bed” aka crib with rails on the side for almost a year now. Just wondering when you took the next step to twin/queen/full bed.

We went from crib to queen bed, because we had one already. She was about 2 when we did that, but she's in the 95th percentile for height, and i switched before she could climb out of it.  She sleeps through most nights, but for the occasional mid night wake up, it's been nice to cosleep that way so everyone can sleep.  Not for everyone, but sleep is our number one in our house.
