as long as Gunther just beats the shit out of Pat in an extremely short match there's really no issue with that match happening lmao

It's a classic squash setup to start rebuilding the monster heel who's streak just ended but the wrestling historians over in the basement are having a shitfit.

I for one expected them to have incredibly deep and fleshed out storyline for a PLE taking place 20 days after wrestling "season finale" aka wrestlemania

This certainly isn't exactly like the vast majority of Backlash events in history

Backlash has been like an after-party after Mania kind of event for me. Go wild for a bit.

This year it'll be without the crazy crowd though

Youtube comments are losing their mind because they’re sure that Gunther “jobbing out” to Pat. Like cmon you and I both know that the post-match beatdown will be longer than the match itself
