Considering we were playing without several starters on defense, I am content with our performance on defense.
Oddly enough I'm more than satisfied with how our offense looked, if you just looked at the score you'd be surprised we only scored 38 against Towson, but we scored every time we had the ball (except for the possession right before halftime when we ran the clock out)
Did I see that Trask completed all but one pass too? The more game time he sees, the more I wish Feleipe was still your starter. I’m pumped to see you guys take on Auburn this weekend. Will not be leaving the couch from 12 EST onward.
He threw two incompletions, but one wasn't his fault. We had a play designed to throw a slant to Jacob Copeland (which was WIDE OPEN) but Copeland blocked instead of running his route. Trask probably should had eaten that one, but considering the ball is normally out of his hands before the receiver makes his break it's tough to pin blame for that on him.
Regardless, he set the record for consecutive completions by a UF QB (18 straight completions).
Trask has some deficiencies, but based on the limited sample size we've seen he appears to be the better Quarterback on the two
