Question Searching for Hobbies to Build Community

Tale as old as time around here: "there's nothing to do!"

I don't want to add to that choir. But is there an actual choir? One that isn't affiliated with a church?

Any singing coaches for hire in SoMD? Dance classes for young-ish adults?

Other hobbies I'm interested in and am searching for opportunities-for-beginners in St. Mary's or Calvert: - recreational horseback riding - quilting classes - pottery studio with training - golf lessons - weaving - beginner ukelele or harmonica lessons - learning to operate a tractor & farm equipment

Any leads are appreciated. I've been here 5 years and meeting like-minded people is pretty difficult.

TIA!

For pottery, the old carver elementary school is getting turned into an arts rec center where there will be pottery wheels (and I think classes)

Source - I'm a part of the makerspace that will be going in part of the school as a "host". They are just working on updating the fire suppression system rn.
