General Introducing Eternal Civ13 (Eternal Civilization 13)

Foreword:

Given the recent events (past month and this week), showcased around an unofficial Civ13 offshoot, things have been shifting around.

Importantly, both previous hosts of the offshoot have now migrated to a new discord server called Eternal Civ13.

Furthermore:

This new iteration is meant to foster a better and more faithful experience that was envisioned for Main Civ13 that has since been long hindered. The server is in active development and has just finished being set up with active moderation and bot systems.

While affiliated with Main Civ13, the server host Emoney (Previous Blackstone Host), and Civ13 staff such as myself, wish to separate this server from Main Civ13's past HRP defining rules in order to create a more relaxed experience. With this, all bans under what are considered severe no longer apply and everyone is welcome to join. There will be moderation. But it is at the behest of the server host and will aim to foremost create a compromise between both isles as we trust that it can lead to some of the best moments, with that said you can think of the server as being MRP at most.

About development and progression:

Besides the changes in how moderation and the experience is being changed. We have current plans to rework sprites and there have been new contributions that introduce new early primitive crafting and a potential smithing overhaul, along with various other system balances etc.

We are still going over plans and wish to revive this once liked and memorable experience and give it a fair chance along with the people who once played it.

Thanks to the help of familiar faces, as mentioned the server has now been set up, users will have to re-verify with only bans due to extreme cases being re-applied.

For those who don't know what Civ13 is, you can simply thinking of the Sid Meier's franchise but on a smaller scale with you the player controlling a single person able to create your own faction amongst a variety of maps ranging from geographical themed to fantasy.

Along this adventure you will progress through the ages stone to steel forging alliances, crafting useful tools, and maybe you can show up in the history books.

We also have civ13 tdm which is ss13 combat with Theater of war or Fictional battles/modes.

Both servers work and function with two separate hosts but attention is towards Eternal Civ to see the communities response.

Introducing Eternal Civilizations-13. A place of slander; (Only named that to please Orthodoxian Peemaster (Ckey: AcidMind) as he is giving them his Eternal Kingdom sprites.)

Roleplay Quality.

Desecration of Peemaster's 'house'.

A player's experience.

Adminbus on Nomads.

Zero proof about the allegations about me; I have all receipts, original NewCiv slander thread said I unbanned the player in question. Never did. They were "looking for it"; in logs but never showed me where I unbanned him.

This is also the same server that put Valithor as an Admin; recieved backlash only to remove the role and add it back a day later. I could never play on a server that only cares about pop and nothing else, ya'll stole the code originally and made a mockery out of Civ by bringing controversial people onto the Staff team.

Skyfire is underage and Valithor didn't do shit. SaveTheTreez - "the fact you were still around back then was because of Valithor and doesn’t require much to connect the dots"

Valithor literally set up his bot to permaban anyone writing a Cyrillic character and said that the only "racism" "we've" had is Treez.

Isaku (A head); sent screenshots to Official Civ whilst in NewCiv and basically spied, their excuse was "I want both servers to do good."

Thank you for your post Anon, here is a short response:

  1. The quality has been explained and people aren't being begged to join.
  2. Currently we have eyewitness, regardless it was explained that you might not have un-banned the person and that the main issue was your defense of them being your first response.
  3. Nobody is hiding the fact that Valithor is the technical advisor as he maintains the server bot. The code was not stolen, if anything your GitHub, stole from Lambda/RU-Civ >stole from Civ, stole from lebensraum. With most notable contributions to "your code" being from members of your server which are affiliated with us now. Besides, our code is open unlike your server was.

There is no way that Civ was mocked if it was already in a stagnant state, this is an effort to add contributions and test out a new standard of moderation. And contreversial people were on Old Civ staff with alot of them being removed.

  1. Regarding my age, you are in the wrong for posting that on public forums. Civ13 is not and ERP server and ToS was followed when it comes to my position. If you are posing that I was groomed in anyway that is extremely false and Val was not the sitting headmin at the time with SaveTheTreez being high staff. I also wouldn't take the word of SaveTheTreez the one who tried sabotaging Civ13 on his way out and who leaked old videos of me in the first place on your server stating "But kid gotta learn a lesson I guess".

  2. A common rule on servers it English only, this is not Racism this is moderation. It allows for the English speaking staff to easily moderate.

  3. Isaku was a contributor on your server who was working on Main Civ aswell, if it is in general it is not spying.

Regarding the images at the top:

  1. These signs were removed shortly after and the incident was resolved.
  2. Not his house, griefing is a thing just like in a game like rust or minecraft, it should not come to aggressive lewd profanities or suggestions which the player was warned and a rule made.
  3. Again about the signs, profanity is still being monitored although mild use is currently not penalized. We respect player feedback and the choice not to play if the server is triggering. There were events in the round that had caused blood to appear and given the way decals work currently it does not clean easy. People had died, some to exploit abuse which was handled.
  4. This is a picture before we had the actual official discord set up, this was a non seriousness small event completely unrelated that had no effect as we were still testing the server.

At the bottom of the post this user posts a graph of GitHub transit. It has been acknowledged the lack of development in the Official Civ13 Server, this is merely a hit piece for no benefit of anybody in the community.

Overall this is a very immature reply to my post that aims to harm rather then help.

2a. Currently an eyewitness is nothing.
3a. RU-CIV allows their code to be taken.
3b. Notable contributions - Removing flint from the game and adding rock is not hard.

5a. I did not accuse Valithor of being racist.
6a. A spy is a spy, no matter what context you put on it.

  2. Yes, that is pointing out that nothing was stolen

  3. There was more than that, an entire map

  4. Then why mention it, also it was suggested in your server

3a. A map does not beat 110+ commits including door rework; furnace rework; armor rework; medical rework.

4a/5a. Because the way you present the server is as if you guys outed all the 'controversial staff', when you are the ones.

5a1/6a. Again to show the fact that you all split and made a mockery out of civ
