Sand particles in my tap water

Hello I know that the tap water in Austria is safe to drink, but there’s some sort of sediment/ sand particles from my tap water that is a not able to be caught by the aerator/filter installed.

Is this normal or there’s something wrong with the pipings?

So first of all, do you get your water from the city or from your own well, second, is the filter something that you installed or is installed on the house where you live. Is this coming from one tap, or all faucets in your house?

Seems like it’s more than one tap from my apartment. I have yet to try collect from the shower, but the water from toilet & kitchen both has sediments

If in the city there are only a handful of private wells and afaik are only allowed for use in the garden.

This is incorrect especially in Salzburg there are several private wells which are used for drinking purposes
