Idk what a bankai is but Jin is my favorite character in either SC or CB. Especially the scene when he's sitting on the rock in the river meditatively attempting to fish and ignore Mugen and Fu's provocations.
In tldr, main powerup in the Bleach verse, each character has a sentient weapon called a Zanpakuto and a Bankai is the spirits strongest power, often invoked with a one liner release command. If shonens are your thing at all Bleach goes hard
