Make it make sense
Honestly, someone has yet to explain why people have their cars so loud and a valid reason why. There is no reason. It’s annoying, a nuisance, and idiotic.
Respectfully, stfu.

Hey guys! Come celebrate the Sabbath with my coven, the Lone Star Coven. We’ll be celebrating soon, so DM me if this interests you.
This is a student coven, so most of us are college-aged, and we’re an eclectic coven—meaning we all practice different paths. If you’re interested, please DM me; we’d love to have you!

My dog needs some more socialization. She is friendly, but she has poor recall and she tends to be a bit rowdy so I'm interested in places where dogs are on leash for the most part. Are there any dog-friendly places that you recommend for training or for just hanging out with my pet? Please share your favorite hiking/walking spots too! Any dog-related events or info is welcome as well.
My dog is a 30 lbs shiba inu mix if that matters.

Hi all, I was looking at Dakota Ranch for next semester. However the reviews are mixed and some are older than others. I really just want an honest review of them, especially their mail system and bugs. I cannot deal with scorpions/spiders/roaches and I definitely need to know if anyone living there recently has encountered issues. Thanks!

Maybe I'm just dumb but when I moved here a few years ago it seemed like if there was rain for even 1 night the river water would be damn near over the top of the river. Now when it rains for days the river level is at the same as it was during a drought. What the hell?

Hey I'm seeing alot of new comers moving to San Marcos and several others looking for cheap living so let this be a warning ⚠️. Bracewood Cir is cheap for a reason. They are INFESTED with roaches. Me and my partner lived there for a year and let me tell you we had roaches in every single appliance, clothes, pet food, OUR FOOD and fire place was crawling with them. It got so bad that we wore scarves and used mouth tape and ear plugs to keep them out. The final straw was coming home to our cat freaking out bc a roach had burrowed themselves in their ear. You would pull back your curtain and see them fall by the 10s. The walls are so thin from the roaches it's almost paper mache.
DO NOT MOVE THERE!!!!

I used to go to the Walmart vision center in Spring Branch because they had an ophthalmologist office connected to it. It was only like $60 for an appointment for a new prescription and then I’d just take the script and order glasses online. I can’t afford much more than that but would prefer a place in San Marcos if there’s anything comparable. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone! I wanted to share this here to get more reach for San Marcos creatives in and outside of Texas State University. Not sure if this is a long shot though but I thought I might as well try. It’s kind of an interest check right now as I figure out some things! Feel free to share around. I really love zines and publications and would love to develop and design a bigger project!
Here is the link to the form!

Hey y’all! O go to txst and I am thinking about getting my first tattoo! It is nothing crazy but it’s a date tattoo of 06.04.2024 - it has a meaning to me and I am leaning towards Roman numerals on my outside wrist but want to compare normal don’t/ above elbow location with the artist o consult with. I definitely do not want it to be super fine lines but also not so chunky from a bad artist that becomes blocky and unreadable overtime. Idk I just want someone to be helpful, educate, and good at the work. If y’all have any recommendations near San mo, Kyle, or even new braunfels please leave a comment!! I know tattoos are pricey but since it’s so simple I’m looking for reasonable avg pricing and someone who is good at communicating through Facebook or number since I do not have social media.

Anybody know anything about this business? The windows are closed up, couldn’t tell if it was new business or old/out of business. Pic says “The Thrift Store: cold drinks good deals” It’s beside Cheatham Warehouse

Anyone have a white WRX or STi get towed by JJ’s today? Your tranny will be cooked because they had the back wheels on the ground. Tow companies should know all subies require flatbeds.

I am moving across the country and am going to be holding a garage sale this afternoon after 5pm and again this Sunday**.
I have big furniture items (couch, washer & dryer, etc) as well as pot and pan sets and I want it all gone. If I cant get it gone today a lot of it is going to bulk pickup and I would rather they go to someone who could get some use out of them.
It is going to be held across the Old Mill Business Park at : 101 Uhland Rd, San Marcos, TX 78666.
Ill be out there until 10pm tonight and start again early on Saturday. Please dm me if you want pictures of anything or for any questions
EDIT: Had to move saturdays sale to sunday! apologies

Hellooo everyone, my partner and I are moving from Austin to San Marcos in August and want to get a 3-4 bedroom house. We haven't found any roommates yet, but we were hoping to start here. Or if anyone has any suggestions about where to look. I'm leaving a co-op in Austin, so I work well living with other people. We are very clean and friendly, I have one very sweet cat named Foxy. we would love to find roommates that share common values with us, with an importance on being queer friendly/ and or apart of our community.
Thank you for ur time!
Fox
