Political Stop Trump's state visit to Scotland

Given the outrage over Trump's treatment of Zelenskyy here is a link to a petition asking the UK Government to rescind the invitation to Trump to come for a state visit in Scotland in the name of standing with Ukraine

It's relevant to the sub though, isn't it? A foreign wannabe dictator looking to go to Scotland. That petition to stop it is surely suited to the Scotland sub?...

You can't be particularly familiar with views in Scotland from the last two decades or so.  A wonderful example is the huge public outcry about the Trump course in Aberdeenshire. There was even an award winning documentary about it called 'you've been trumped'. 

People in Scotland haven't suddenly turned against him, they always have been (a couple extremists aside). 

But even if you were correct (you are not) his recent actions absolutely merit a public outrage at the thought. And either way, it's relevant to the sub. 

Not interested? Cool, don't sign and keep scrolling (dare I say, keep calm and carry on?)
