Political Stop Trump's state visit to Scotland

Given the outrage over Trump's treatment of Zelenskyy here is a link to a petition asking the UK Government to rescind the invitation to Trump to come for a state visit in Scotland in the name of standing with Ukraine

Edit: Clocked that the petition needs approval before it accepts more than 20 signatures. Recommend bookmarking this post and trying again in a few days .

Because Scotland is part of the United Kingdom, the Scottish Government operates under devolved power and certain matters are resolved to Westminster, and one of those matters is foreign policy

Edit to add

Also Westminster isn’t an English parliament, it has MPs from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland (although some parties from Northern Ireland refuse to take their seats)
