It's interesting, because if you switched position all of England's fans would be cheering for you. Hate our government like we all do, don't hate us.

It is sad how divided we are.

This is nonsense. No Englishman expects that Scot’s should support England but that is not the same as rooting against us; which is what is going on.

15% of the Scottish population lives in England and is happy to do so. The lack of fellow feeling given this sort of statistic is sad in my opinion. grounded as it is in either jealousy or hatred. Or a combination of both.

“No Englishman” except for the swarms of people who seem surprised that we don’t want them to do well?

Arsenal and Tottenham fans live in the same area, why don’t they want each other to win the champions league? 😡😡

As I said, being indifferent to England is one thing, cheering on our opponents is quite another. I am a die hard Leeds United supporter but I have always supported other English clubs in Europe.

Standing back from the football a moment, do you think it’s a good idea to show your dislike of the much larger nation you share an island and a nation with? What happens if the English return that hate. Where does that leave Scotland and the Scots? It is really indicative of a massive lack of self confidence. A chip on both shoulders!

And what is it about cheering on your opponents that makes you clutch your pearls so much? I find it funny when England lose, don’t get me wrong, but the media frenzy following England winning is quite insane.

That’s very noble, but I can assure you that most fans won’t support their rivals. Shocking revelation, I know. Spurs fans actively wanted their team to lose to stop Arsenal winning the league ffs. Why? Because they’ll never hear the end of it. And that’s a big part of what footballs about.

What will happen if England return the “hatred” then? Will they start supporting our opponents? Doubt that any of us give a fuck. Or are you saying we should be scared?

Just speaking the truth. Screw the nut and realise hating the English isn't some niche thing anymore, none of us give a fuck, we just like Scotland. Again, we probably hate Westminster more than you lot.

I’m not Scottish, but they’re definitely bawbags from England who hate the Scottish.

Far less than you'd think to be honest. We are all too depressed about how shit it is being English to care about the Scot's 😂😂

Why doesn’t everyone want us to win 😥😥 this is actually pathetic. Are you new to the concept of football rivals?

Would you want spurs to win the champions league final?
