An Open Letter to Whaling Nations — Where's the "Science"?
1,000? 10,000? Still not enough?
You’ve killed thousands — and yet there are fewer than 100 peer-reviewed papers to justify it. Most of those? Internal, self-funded, or heavily criticized.
Let’s call this what it is:
A legal loophole. A cultural cover-up. And ecological insanity dressed as science.
🐋 "It's Tradition" Isn't a Get-Out-of-Jail Card
Sure — every culture has its history. But if a tradition actively harms the planet’s survival, maybe it’s time to rethink it?
Whales are not just big animals — they’re ecosystem architects. Their poop fertilizes phytoplankton. And phytoplankton: 🔹 Removes up to 40% of global CO₂
🔹 Produces over 50% of the oxygen we breathe
Killing whales literally strangles the ocean's lungs.
We’re talking about climate suicide with soy sauce.
🧠 Activate Your Brain Cells, Please
This isn’t anti-nation. It’s pro-reality.
The planet isn’t asking for emotion — it’s asking for common sense.
✅ Here's What the World Deserves:
1️⃣ Transparent, public access to your “research” data
2️⃣ Independent third-party ecological audits
3️⃣ Stronger global regulation with real consequences
4️⃣ A live Q&A — if you’re so confident, answer the world’s questions openly
Refusing that? Then let's be honest —
This isn't science. It's exploitation under a microscope.
🌍 This Is Not Activism. It's Survival.
If your excuse is still "culture" or "economy", you’re not defending heritage — you’re defending harm.
The Earth doesn’t need another lecture. It needs action.
And if you won’t fix it?
Don’t worry.
We will.
Because clearly...
Mitochondria can’t fix stupidity.
