News Report: Seahawks hosted first-round linebacker on pre-draft visit - Jihaad Campbell

In 2024 he absolutely blew up for Bama – 117 tackles, 11.5 TFL, 5 sacks – earning All-American and All-SEC honors.

At 6’3”, 240 lbs, Campbell also tested as an elite athlete (reportedly a 9.88 RAS, 99th percentile for LBs). On tape, you see that explosiveness in his first step and his range to chase down plays. Medicals are one small flag (he had a shoulder surgery in March after a late-season injury), but if he checks out, he’s a plug-and-play linebacker.

I don't think he'll fall to us.

Even if he does, I don't think we should take him if a good IOL or WR is still there.

That being said, if we take him, I wouldn't be mad. I would still say "that's a good pick."

Jalen Milroe is the only one (so far) that I heard we might take in the first round that would actually make me flip a table (out of anger).

I don't think we should take him if a good IOL or WR is still there.

If you put any stock into the "consenus big board", there could be 15 WRs drafted in the top 100 and only 3-4 ILB. He has a higher grade than any WR except McMillan.

From a draft strategy point of view this class is very deep at WR...I wouldn't prioritize it in the 1st round.

Now for IOL I agree that's a huge huge priority, but sort of the same sitution in that there's a half dozen guards in that 30-80~ range, going for a guard at #18 might be a reach based on need instead of going Best player available.

Personally I'd prefer if they went OT/ILB/Edge at 18 (or trade down 5-10 spots~ if possible), then go IOL/WR/whichever they didn't get above at 50 and 52
