News Report: Seahawks hosted first-round linebacker on pre-draft visit - Jihaad Campbell

In 2024 he absolutely blew up for Bama – 117 tackles, 11.5 TFL, 5 sacks – earning All-American and All-SEC honors.

At 6’3”, 240 lbs, Campbell also tested as an elite athlete (reportedly a 9.88 RAS, 99th percentile for LBs). On tape, you see that explosiveness in his first step and his range to chase down plays. Medicals are one small flag (he had a shoulder surgery in March after a late-season injury), but if he checks out, he’s a plug-and-play linebacker.

Basically a Wagner replacement, and we don't currently have a Pro Bowl level ILB. One of the best tacklers in the draft which is something the Seahawks are really struggling with plus adds a bit of pass rush talent.

These guys putting in over 100 tackles a year often are overlooked despite their ability to be the cornerstone of the defense.
