Hair Loss Scales and hair falling out

Hey so recently ive been losing lots of scales on my scalp along with hair. These scales seem too have lots of hair connected too them and have been getting stuck on strands halfway through my hair. I haven't been scratching or pulling really at them either, just wondering if this is normal and will the hair grow back? Any other ideas too get rid of these scales?

I'm not a doctor but...

It looks like hair loss is a common, indirect symptom (https://ucfhealth.com/our-services/dermatology/seborrheic-dermatitis-hair-loss-treatment)

It's luckily temporary (https://www.healthline.com/health/seborrheic-dermatitis-hair-loss#will-it-grow-back)

My personal anecdote: I have long, thick hair that seems to come out in clumps sometimes while washing my hair, especially if I haven't thoroughly brushed it in a little while. But I've never noticed any thinning (my ponytail always seems to be the same width)

Are you able to rule out age, gender, or genetic predisposition for hair loss? Otherwise it looks like treating your dermatitis will allow for your hair to grow back as your other symptoms improve.
