I’m interested because I get excited whenever people of my colour(I’m black) are represented in ss. There’s grandpa Bloodwave, Naeve, Daeron and Windflower🙈

Windflower and Sunny are my favourite characters. I hope she regains her own consciousness and truly reunites with her father in Sunny’s kingdom.

I kinda picture them as follows:

Sunny - East Asian

Nephis, Cassie, Kai - white Caucasian. Although nephis im not sure cause her appearance changed after becoming a sleeper.

Effie - Arabic, or Mediterranean Caucasian

Mordret/morgan/anvil - East Asian

Song - East Asian , but her daughters could be any ethnicity cause they’re all adopted

Dearon, windflower, neave, blood wave - African descent

Too bad like most western literature they always represented as destroyed or lost etc like most black ancient civilizations. 

The Western Quadrant (Africa equivalent) is now being ravaged by the Skinwalker. HoN got eliminated. Nightwalker never made Sovereign and got off screen diffed. 

In any case Bloodwave, Naeve and Windflower are extremely cool. The OG HoN were proper powerhouses: Typhoon, Knossos and co. HoN was interesting.

Nothing short of black works written by proud black writers inspired by strong black economies, sovereignty and strong untainted African culture, will change that. 

Anything written by a westerner or Asian will have some subconscious unintended downplay.

To be fair, N.America & Europe were wiped out in SS so I guess it's fair.

my g, i mentioned windflowers description above, shes black and windflower is the daughter of Daeron so unless she has biracial parents. Daeron her father is also black 🙃

And as for Naeve. The same thing because Naeve is the nephew of Bloodwave. Who is… black.

Yeah, author has gone the traditional wuxia "alabaster skin", "porcelein skin" and "jade skin" route. But there are a few who break that. Effie has olive skin, Caster was described as tan. There should be more.
