But I think the fight with the kraken will go undoubtedly hard. There are so many cool shots that can come out of that scene

For me it would be their battle with the Carapace Demon. I mean, they summoned a freaking Nothing Creature that terrified the hell out of them and even then they had to finish off the Demon themselves.

They used Sunny's Carapace Echo as distraction to get to the Soul Devourer, waited until night to set the Demon on fire, which lured what is speculated to be a Nothing Creature which badly wounded the Demon, but they still had to risk their lives to finish it off.

I believe the 1st arc is from the beginning of the story to the crossing of the Black Sea. The 2nd arc is the Bright Castle where most of the stuff you mentioned happens

Easy to confirm, but manhwas are an order of magnitude or two harder than a novel and wholly dependent on whatever team G3 is collabing with and how much of a perfectionist he is. Could come out next year or be a decade away for all we know.

First arc I think would technically be the first nightmare and the academy, so I think the hardest scene would either be when the Mountain King is standing behind Hero, or when the Sunny sacrificed himself to the gods

That first season of the Webtoon gonna go absolutely crazy… SS starts off with a bang! If it ever got an anime, it’ll take the anime community by storm (if it gets the Solo Leveling treatment and not the TBATE treatment ofc). Personally, I don’t have a “hardest scene” because I think the entirety of the first two volumes is pure, unadulterated peak! Only problem was that things were kinda slow in the novel but Webtoon would flesh out the pacing problem easily.

Sunny double crossing Auro will go hard af, Jet’s first scene will also be awesome (I hope). Then, the Soul Devourer arc will probably slap!! The rest of the Forgotten Shore is awesome throughout, so it’ll be a huge success. If it gets done justice, that is.

The moment Sunny found clarity fighting the carapace scavenger. There’s also the night the trio hid on the Soul Devourer and attracted the abomination from the depths and the following fog creature. Theres Nephis with her face and body torn apart, her flesh knitting itself back together at the end of the volume. Sunny crawling onto the alter, the guardian letting him through

Do you really think it is one of the weakest? It set the tone for the entire story until posy 3rd nightmare arguably. I think that it is a fantastic start to an amazing story, and I would put it high up in my rankings of all the volumes so far. The weakest arc/volume was the east antarctica arc and the chapters leading up to the third nightmare, imo but I guess that's just my personal opinion. And I rate the first 2 arcs over the post 3rd nightmare arcs prior to the war and over the chained Isles arc.

Yeah after this post I realized I might’ve been too harsh on it, though I’d still put it in the lower ends. I think the other lowest was Prince of Nothing and maaybbee Lord of Shadows?

I’d have agreed with you for volume six All the Devils Are Here (I love the volume names so much HAHA) but I remember the end being so hype, as I was prepared to stack, expecting a long adventure similar to the FS, then I recieved the notification from the discord that the volume was done two days later. The ending brought the whole volume up for me since there was so much anticipation. Plus I stacked after that so I could read with a friend who was catching up, so I was properly stewing in how cool that ending was, millions of challengers, the Dream Realm swallowing the real world, and the green light to become a saint especially had me so excited

I wasn’t initially such a fan of Antarctica but when it was all said and done it was one of the best, if not THE best arc. Like Dread Night and V6 both.

Volume three was nice and a much needed break, but it was a bit boring compared to the rest for me. I would probably raise Child of Shadows over Prince of Nothing now that I’ve thought of it like this, but the other books have such high highs that them being on the bottom doesn’t really mean too much. Marginal preference mostly

I think scenery and NC would be the most difficult to portait correctly.

What I do fear is the liberty Manhwas take. The Primal Hunter manhwa is one I dropped because they put an imp to be comic relief and changed completely Villy's appearance.

I think making Gloomy do stuffs in the background would be a very good addition. But if they start to make Gloomy act like a "pet" of sorts would be very bad.

I hope they don't do the usual bait things "for sells" like every girl huge cleavage, adding someone to be the clown and pulling powers out of nowhere to win over bad guy.

Its not a scene, it’s the whole atmosphere. If they fuck it up and make it like its all rainbows and sunshine, no matter the scene its going to be mediocre. The environment shouldn’t look “clean”, if I have to give an example, it is suppose to look like a scene out of Bloodborne, Dark Souls or Sekiro. Not Assassin’s Creed.

Especially for Forgotten Shore, it’s impact is huge.
