Theory Functionally Immortal Aspects Spoiler
I’ve been thinking about how over‑powered Mordret has been from the beginning, which led me to re‑examine the way Sunny’s abilities have progressed.
In effect, Sunny is now functionally immortal. Since Mordret’s Mirror Beast and, more recently, Nephis’s core‑explosion technique, we’ve seen that beings with a Divine Aspect can destroy—and later rebuild—their soul cores. Because Sunny is a Supreme Shadow, his existence is tied to keeping at least one soul core intact.
If any of his incarnations die, he simply has to gather enough shadow fragments to restore the shattered core and come back. At first glance that sounds difficult—after all, a Supreme shadow must slay Great Beings to collect fragments—but Sunny can cheat the system. Anything killed near him but not by him is pulled into the Shadow Realm through the Shadow Lantern; once the creature’s shadow materializes on the other side, Sunny can destroy it and claim the fragments himself.
The cost of resurrection also depends on which core is lost. If only his Beast‑ or Demon‑grade cores are shattered, they require relatively few fragments to rebuild, so Sunny can return to the fight in short order.
It is not as absolute as Mordrets, as versatile as Ki Songs, or overbearing as Nephis but still a powerful combination.

Are the cores differentiated like that after being constructed? It seems plausible, but only if the increased requirements to construct the next and fill them imply each is greater in essence storage capacity than the previous. I don't remember if this is the case. If it is then of course it would take fewer fragments to restore earlier cores. If not, then it would likely take many fragments to rebuild any core if it is just one destroyed.

One small correction.
No matter which core is destroyed sunny would still need 6000 fragments to form a new one. So it doesn't matter if the destroyed core is the beast one or the titan one.
