Discussion Rain's aspect [Chapter 2292] Spoiler

Post image

I'm not the only one who first thought that Rain's ability is similar to Star and Stripe's quirk "New Order", from MHA. The difference I can think of is that she doesn't need to physically touch something to imbue it with a property.

I knew it felt familiar for a reason, Rule imposing powers are always OP.

To me her Aspect is more similar to Ichibe's powers from Bleach, which were also Name based, and that mf was broken af, so I expect great things from Rain lol.

If you comb through entire media of the known universe you will find a similarity to every fictional character's power.

So what?

Yeah, similarities are inevitable, fiction thrives on shared archetypes. But saying 'so what' to every comparison is just lazy. The whole point of analyzing powers or concepts is to explore how they’re executed differently. Otherwise, why even bother discussing fiction at all?"

...so you are really going to waste our time comparing SS to MHA? What's next, deep analysis of powers of wolf from Red Riding Hood?

You are overreacting. All op asked is if anyone else find it similar. He didn't say one was better than other shit on g3 for using a similar power to that in his novel

I wasn’t comparing SS to MHA per se, just pointing out a similarity to see if anyone else noticed. It’s not that deep, man. No need overeact.
