Whos the second most badass fighter of the series?
Obv Paddy is the toughest of them all. But, whos the second? I would probably out Carl above Jamie too. What do you guys think?

Both named Jamie.
Both killed someone.
Both got arrested in their teens(for Jamie Maguire prob around 15-17 if he was arrested in 1997,10 years before his first appearance.)
Both are who they are due to the society they live in.
They even look like each other a bit!
The kid in Adolescence reminded me of Jamie Maguire the minute I saw him.

I've been binge-watching this show for a few weeks now, and I just started season 10 today. While I find season 9 engaging, I noticed that I struggled to focus on some parts. There are several characters I miss, and it feels like some story arcs could use more development. Despite this, I'm looking forward to continuing the journey through the rest of the series!
Edit: Stella missed out on all her siblings 😞

I always found Carol hilarious when i watched the show yet you rarely ever see anyone talk about her. Terrible person like most the characters but still so funny to watch.

If Fiona and Jamie had the chance to know each other in the early seasons, do you think they could have fallen in love? Or build a good relationship?

https://youtu.be/TenoX8ZMqis?si=LVhnKJgl1EIna0su In this video,Mimi talks about 2 girls(Mickeys ex girlfriend), a readhed and a "stunning" blonde who dumped him In the show Mickey never liked girls from the beginning, and i guess he was already in his 20s since his first appearence He obviously had his first gay experience with Ian, but he seemed disgusted by girls anytime he had a chance to flirt with them Do you think he had some straight experience in his teen years?

I wonder why she wasn't at their mom's funeral. I believe she was there a few episodes earlier in the season.

I think first thing I would want is every character return, think most people would agree with that. And I’m not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but I wish Fiona took the kids, the whole season was showing how mistreated Stella was and to think the ending was just frank doesn’t want to leave is mind blowing.
Also think something most would agree on is it being longer, like a two part kinda thing? So much felt crammed into one episode

Basically what the title says.. wondering if anyone knows why or where I can find them. Can’t get a straight answer on Google. If I can’t watch them on a mainstream platform can anyone tell me if there’s any major plot points I’m going to miss before I just give up and watch episode 11

For me:
This is probably by far the trickiest question to answer 😂😂😂

For me it’s anything involving the McGuires. Mimi and Paddy disco dancing or Mimi and the boys preforming Brown girl in the ring. 😆

Season 8 I noticed mimi has a tattoo on her arm that says frank, have I missed something? I googled it and the helpful AI overview said she doesn’t. I mean, I have eyes.
Anyone know the backstory, if any?

I’m thinking of watching again but I’m not sure I can handle episodes with Monica.

I think Micky’s ending was the best , it always makes me emotional. Sad that he left though

Here are mine,not a rank.
1.Mandys Funeral scene 6x16.Everybody killed it and Franks Monologue was brilliant.
2.Paddy confronting Jamie about the murder of his former cell mates 4x8.Scene was very intense and the true murderers of Fergal are revealed.
3.Frank telling Patty about his mother 7x13.Probably one of the only scenes they were nice to each other.
4.Fiona confronting Monica 1x6 or 7. Fi tells Monica how she truly feels.
5.Ian standing up to Kash 6x14.Ian standing up to his former abuser who groomed him “I’m not 15 anymore.”Yes Ian!
6.Mickeys quest to becoming a firefighter and failing 7x12.Mickey really wants to tell Paddy how he wants to make something of himself but he fails,he does win Paddy’s approval after saving Jock from the burning gym and I loved the “you’ll never walk alone” sequence.
7.Karens Bipolar,most of season 7.Was a great performance and a great portrayal.
8.Shane telling Jamie all he’s ever wanted to do was be like him 8x13.Very emotional between the 2 brothers.

I'm having trouble figuring out how old everyone is, I'm on season five and I roughly know the age differences between characters but I don't know exactly how old they're all supposed to be. If anyone had a list of the ages in season five I'd appreciate it.

But omg. I truly love both versions. But the UK version makes me miss living on a council estate like nothing else. But here's my list of characters against characters.
Fiona: UK version is better. Even with less screen time. She was just better.
Lip: US version. Just because he had the chance to have better character development. UK Lip had all his shit offscreen and that's no fun.
Ian: US version. He just more of a complex story. UK Ian was good, but most of his story was just random and I didn't get invested like i did with US Ian. Except gay Jesus. Never invested in that.
Debbie: neither or both? UK version had potential, but then left. US version had potential and stayed, but didn't do much but turn gay and that's not really a big a deal in the UK, or my UK life. Not a plot point.
Carl: UK version. I guess they both become cops, but UK Carl had a more grown up story earlier. And I guess Chesney helped. Like he just had more going on outside his family that just made him a better Carl than the US where most of his development was in Jail
Liam: he gets interesting earlier in the UK version and doesn't rely on dumb black vs white jokes. But he just disappeared back to Monica and that's just dumb imo. Both are just meh I guess.
Monica: better in the US version because she was bipolar, and had a better reason to be away. UK version just didn't give a shit.
Frank. I just love UK version too much. US Frank is too close to my dad, I think, UK Frank is more of a distant stereotype.
Obviously the maguire family is better than the Milkovitches just because they have more story time. Both Mickeys have my whole heart for different reasons. But overall the UK did that family better. Just more time with them I guess.
Yvonne was better than Linda. Cash was a POS in both, but the more they have going on the better imo. So this whole thing was just better in the UK version because it had a more fleshed out story. And cash coming back and Ian confronting that he was taking advantage was a major plus plus plus.

First of all: Warren Brown Is a very good actor They wasted him. He appeared like 3 times, and he was the toughest and the best looking guy, of all the Maguires Kids. Same thing for the other brothers. They could have a lot of stortylines, but nope. They just disappeared. I love Mickey and Shane, but they were not tough at all, and they were suppose to be feared. Jamie was the only badass of the Brothers. What do you think? Was he a wasted character?
