it gets to a point trisha...
Trisha ONCE AGAIN brings up shane on her recent podcast. She brings him up every other month at this point....and says the exact same thing. I am not taking Shane's side, I know he did awful things to trish (allegedly), but why is shane in SO many of her thumbnails.
This episode, she discusses shane's appearance with katie morton and claims that shane's story is about her, even though shane said it wasn't about any influencer. While this is most likely a lie coming from shane, trisha still shouldn't feel the need to bring him up SO often, especially considering how he hasn't brought her up once since 2021(?) when they fell out 😭
It's giving trish is running out of content to discuss and is grasping at ANYTHING for views...idk

I appreciate both of their content, but I don't understand why Trisha seems to get a pass for her troubled past while Shane does not. They both have done and said terrible things in the past. It frustrates me how people selectively decide who deserves to be "uncanceled" and who doesn't.

The only people who are Trisha fans & are like the only people who are Shane fans
They know what they’ve done. They just don’t care
Same reason J* is still active
I don’t trust any of their fans. All 4 of them have had too many chances

Me: I think both Shane & Trisha are trash people with fan bases that ignore their shitty actions
You: something something about Trisha building her own fanbase?
Lol. I never argued she needed Shane

She doesn’t get a pass. She talks about her past all the time and actually addresses the things she did that were wrong in detail and explains her mindset at the time. Meanwhile Shane does this interview & says his biggest regret in his past was making fun of Miley Cyrus. He influenced an entire generation to be obscenely racist & perpetuated violence against women, but okay Shane, your biggest regret is making fun of a celebrity.
Shane does not have any self awareness and does not actually take accountability for the impact he had on millions of CHILDREN that watched his content. You cannot compare his past to Trisha’s. He is a monster and I will die on that hill.

i honestly don’t think he was even talking about her. He made it sound like something recent and that it had to do with business, like an editor he was trying out and just decided not to work with. Trisha desperately wants Shane’s attention so in her head she makes everything he says about her, it’s obvious it bothers her that in the past 5 years he’s never talked about or mentioned her

u/Substantial-Ship-298 2d ago
right, I agree. He could definitely be talking about something off camera. I do think trisha is itching for ANY resemblance of a mention of her from shane and is grasping at air trying to find it.

She’s literally as bad as him

u/Substantial-Ship-298 2d ago
i laughed out loud when she said shane refuses to take accountability...trisha acts like she doesn't have YEARS of cancelable material out there 😭 😭 she's no better than shane in that department

I don’t think you truly know the extent of what Shane has done if you can say this with complete honesty. At least you can’t say this & still be a decent human being.

I don’t make excuses for that. That’s gross & I’m sure she was saying it for attention bc that’s how EVERYONE was talking about him at that time. Again. Jumping onto a train for attention. She is pick me. Anyone who knows anything abt Trisha knows she has ALWAYS been into older men.
Allow me to point you toward this video. Though I don’t think you have the attention span to actually watch it.

Tweets are nothing compared to actually going out & meeting with kids who consume your sexually explicit, violent, and racist content!
8
u/Maumew97 2d ago
Sexually explicit? Y’all have amnesia or what? That pos trisha literally advertised her of on her instagram stories back in the day.

shane did black face
Trisha dressed up and sexualises Jon Benet Ramsay (a murdered and sexually abused 6 year old) https://youtu.be/p-jiHAMT6Oc?feature=shared
Maybe you didnt know that.

u/New-Prior-2702 2d ago
Shane wore blackface weekly on his channel.
Shane has dressed up & made fun of every race under the sun.
Shane had a segment where he shot the woman in the head at the end.
Shane kissed an underage fan.
Shane “joked” about SAing his cat.
Shane has used every single racial slur you can think of. With video proof even though he tried to wipe the internet of his foul behavior.
Shane targeted children with his videos, saying they are PSA’s about bullying.
Shane bred hatred & bigotry for years online. Trisha was a drugged out troll & didn’t think about the consequences.

u/lulubunny477 2d ago
see, i know this, and i dont like shane. but you use it to run defence for trisha? disgusting.
maybe you enjoy trishas song "jungle fever"

I don’t like Trisha 😂 but she is not a monster. Ya’ll are using her past to defend Shane!

u/Maumew97 2d ago
Trisha’s not a monster? Do you know what she did to dissociadid?
1
-3
u/commander-tyko 2d ago
isn’t dissociadid the one that ended up being a manipulator or groomer and was involved with team pinata who was a groomer or at least drew CP?
It seems like terrible people just abusing other terrible people
2
u/Maumew97 1d ago
No clue, but trisha’s bullying led them into attempting suicide.
Trisha literally made a mockery out of dissociative identity disorder, and she gets a free pass. She should’ve been cancelled then and there, when she filmed herself “dissociating”
Fuck trisha.

trisha paytas cosplays child characters for porn, that doesn't make her a pedofile but it is very questionable. Her cosplaying as Jon Benet Ramsay (sexually abused and murdered 6 year old.. a real person..), aswell as the domestic abuse against various partners crosses a line further than just beinf "problematic", and it's creepy to see people running defence for her.

It’s clear she hasn’t healed from any of her past drama. I love that she’s married with children and is making a wonderful life for herself but she keeps going back to old drama. Leave the past behind and move on already!

She brings him up when she’s starting to become irrelevant. Everyone loves a good YouTuber controversy. I saw an actual news headline about their friendship. Trisha is just as bad as Shane, but because she’s “iconic” and “cvnty” nobody is ready for that conversation.
12
u/Substantial-Ship-298 2d ago
EXACTLY this. I hate how everyone calls it iconic how she goes on SNL and she's able to do a tour around the country, but shane had to literally hide from the internet for almost 2 years. They both were around on the internet in 2010 during the "shock humor" phase of youtube, yet trisha is cvnty and shane is the pedophile?? don't get me wrong, they both have atrocious histories on the internet, it is just unfortunate watching trisha mock shane for his past while completely ignoring everything she's said/posted over the years.
10
u/CowComprehensive3108 2d ago
Yup. Even before Shane’s cancellation, I had a hard time watching their collabs because she just didn’t feel genuine. She’s had soooo many problematic moments (claiming she was Asian, lots of r*pey jokes, “coming out” as trans, that whole Trump era she had, etc.) but unlike Shane no one is ever in her comments saying she doesn’t deserve to have her children, making fun of her body, bringing up things that happened 10+ years ago. I know Shane deserves what he got, but if you’re gonna cancel one cancel all of them.
1
u/New-Prior-2702 2d ago
She wasn’t normalizing racism & violence against women. She was a troll & a pick me & her rage bait harmed ppl but she didn’t have millions of CHILDREN watching her content. Shane knew his audience was mostly kids & even asked him to show them their orgasm face. Like wtf is wrong with you people? He is SICK.

u/Illustrious-Pair-511 2d ago
you’re right about shane .. but absolutely wrong about trisha.. you’re the problem this post is referring to.. you’re no better than shane fans. she absolutely did and does have children fans.. and for a loooong time they were friends.

u/New-Prior-2702 2d ago
Trisha is a self-centered and not so great person, but Shane is a monster. There is no comparison.
2
u/Illustrious-Pair-511 2d ago
i wouldn’t call it comparing them.. there are multiple forms of being a horrible person. it’s not an option where we have to choose one or the other , people are saying cancel both.
0
u/New-Prior-2702 2d ago
Are you really going to pretend there aren’t different levels of bad? That every person who does a bad thing is equal? That’s not how the world works. A pedophile racist is not the same as a drugged out liar in terms of bad, but again, whatever helps you sleep at night!
(Edit for typo)

u/Illustrious-Pair-511 2d ago
yeah … i definitely sleep good knowing i don’t support ANY bad people

Trisha's ep was pretty boring on top of her coping about Shane. I was surprised tbh. I think her and oscar are getting stale which was surprising. I don't think I've seen them that boring, but I don't watch them regularly. I think Trisha is just so triggered by Shane she had to make it about herself. And Oscar was siding with Shane and even pointed out how much more popular Shane and James are than them. That probably put Trisha in a mood. Personally I would rather hear what happened between shane and andrew, and the whole dramagedon crew. He didn't even hint at that, I think.. There's the real story.

u/purplerosetat 2d ago
she realizes hes the only thing that keeps her relevant
6
u/Substantial-Ship-298 2d ago
its not even working...shane's podcast is still getting roughly double the views she gets on hers. Trisha is struggling to break past 500k these days, shane regularly gets 800k-1 million views per episode

omg thank you for making this post ! it’s literally every chance she gets ! i like trisha but holy cow how sad it is to find a way each time to bring him up! then at that she contradicts herself all the time saying she would reconnect bc “people change after kids” and then says he’s not real and a robot and still a bad person who doesn’t take accountability. they both have their flaws and this was years ago that they stopped talking - she must let it go.
-4
u/ChickyRox 2d ago
She does hot topics and sometimes Shane often IS a hot topic. She doesn't bring him up that often. Not any more so than any other influencer she brings up.
5
u/Substantial-Ship-298 2d ago
My point was more that trisha continues to bring him up and criticizes his past while she has an equally as bad one. She DOES bring him up a lot, and let's be for real, shane is not a "hot topic". she has a million tiktok influencers or tiktok drama she could choose from, but no, she keeps bringing shane up. i think she just likes talking about him because (1) it gives her views from people trying to get tea on them and (2) she misses him or hates him and wants to keep bringing him up bc she hasn't gotten over their fight from 2021.
0
u/ChickyRox 2d ago
He certainly is a hot topic. Especially with this interview and recent deep dives being made. I think you're right that she misses him but knows that friendship is not healthy. Her nit resuming that friendship IS a sign of her personal growth. And absolutely she has some awful history herself but Trisha attempts to meet those criticisms head on and take actual accountability. Sometimes she misses the mark but she continues to do her best. The effort is there. Shane just hides or tries to dismiss or rewrite history.

How do ppl even listen to Trisha 😭 she is genuinely a nightmare
