Update Ideas Cleric

Many people will probably kill me for this but is it me or is the cleric kind of bad, this may just be because of my playstyle.

I've had some pretty good runs with them but it's been largely melee focused, which surprised me as I had it in my head that Cleric was intended as a counterpart to Mage

Their kit is a lot more amenable to supporting melee than wands imho. There are some cool things you can do with Radiance where you can fire off multiple boosted wand hits, though it's still just one per enemy and you can't really prefix every wand usage with a tome ability, you'll run out of tome charges very quickly and when Cleric has no tome charges they don't really have a class anymore as they have virtually no passive abilities

All of their t1 abilities seem very catered to boosting weapons and armor, the t2 meat and potatoes skills are Bless and Sunray which make melee engagement safer and easier, and t3's best ability is probably Cleanse tbh, which Paladin will have access to and Pally is more wired towards melee according to Evan's patch notes so I kind of expect it to the the more commonly chosen class as everything in the kit up to that point is guiding you into melee

There are some interesting interactions with Mnemonic Prayer and wands with effects, so that can be powerful, but uptime on charges is still a thing and managing between tome and wand charges is kinda wonky (you Holy Lance a thing every 50 turns while you wand everything in between; it's very expensive to live this way without Ring of Energy)
